Our services are paid by the author. We agree the work, fees, responsibilities, and timing before a project begins. You can discuss a specific need or support through the complete publishing process.

Shape the manuscript

Manuscript assessment, editorial development, editing, and proofreading, shaped around what your writing needs.

Reach another language

English, French, Italian, and Spanish, supported by native-speaking collaborators. Language pairs, subject fit, and availability are confirmed individually. Other languages considered on request.

Make the edition

Cover design, interior formatting, and preparation for print and ebook editions—with attention to the character of your book.

Prepare for publication

Publication setup and distribution through channels agreed for your project. Distribution does not guarantee bookshop stocking or sales.

How It Works

Start with a conversation.

There is no single package for every book. We begin by understanding yours.

  1. Introduce your project. Tell us about the manuscript, its language, its stage, and the help you are looking for.
  2. Define the work. We discuss suitability, deliverables, fees, timing, rights, and responsibilities.
  3. Agree before beginning. Work starts after the project terms are agreed. Promotion and marketing can be discussed as optional, separately scoped services.

Services and our catalogue are distinct.

Hiring us for editing, translation, or publishing support does not automatically secure a place in the Ancestral Editions catalogue. Imprint acceptance is a separate editorial decision. We do not promise sales or commercial success.
